Code Name: BeastReal Name: Henry McCoy Estimated Age: 35+ Abilities: Superhuman strength and agility Group: X-Men Archrival(s): His own Beast mutation General Info: Hank spent much time and effort suppressing his mutation, but was ultimately unsuccessful doing so. He created a serum which kept his mutation hidden for years, but eventually the physical and mental stress of keeping the Beast inside was too much. Hank transformed from a likable teacher into a savage Beast while working after hours at Bayville High on his serum. Beast damaged the school and threatened Principal Kelly in an uncontrollable rage. The X-Men eventually were able to locate and subdue him. Soon the rage subsided, but life would never be the same for Hank McCoy. His rampage at the school and his drastic and permanent change in physical appearance would make any public appearance too startling for a general population unaware of the mutants among them. Hank remained at the Xavier Institute as a teacher for the New Recruits. |
