He has a long history with Xavier, both as a friend and an enemy. Magneto has given up on the idea of peaceful co-existence between mutants and humans. His philosophy is in direct opposite to that of Xavier, who still believes mutants and humans can live together in relative peace. Magneto envisions himself and other mutants dominating over humanity as the only way to prevent bloodshed between the two groups. However, Magneto's dream is threatened by Apocalypse who has his own plans for world domination. |
